Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly recognized by his stage name Wizkid, Star Boy or Wizzy, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born in Surulere, Lagos.

Wizzy undertook his music career in 2001 when he was only 11 years old releasing his debut studio album titled “Superstar” through Empire Mates Entertainment on June 12, 2011, which topped charts and won numerous awards.

Made in Lagos is the fourth studio album by Nigerian singer and songwriter Wizkid. This masterpiece was released on 30 October 2020 by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records.

The album runs for 52 minutes straight, produced by a good number of world-class producers like P2J, Kel-P, Blaqjerzee, London and more.

According to Pulse.ng, in a span of just five months after its release in October, Made in Lagos received over 124 million streams on Apple Music, 123 million plus streams on Audiomack, 80 million plus streams on YouTube, 78 million plus streams on Spotify and over 20.2 million streams on Boomplay.

“Sounds from the Other Side” is the artist’s third studio album and crucial label debut by Nigerian singer Wizkid released on July 14, 2017, by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records.

According to Pulse.ng, the singer interpreted the album as an EP containing songs that were recorded between 2014 and 2017.

According to data obtained from Chart Data, “Sounds From The Other Side” sold a total of 6,286 units in its first week in the US.
That is broken down into 2,672 pure album purchases, 6,079 song downloads, 4,510,897 song streams. All of these make up the first week sales for Wizkid

Ayo is the self-titled second studio album by Nigerian singer Wizkid. It was released on 17 September 2014, by Starboy Entertainment and Empire Mates Entertainment that also worked on the fourth and third album.

The album was delayed twice due to complications in track nomination and a follow-up to his debut album “Superstar”.

“Ayo” includes hits like “Ojuelegba”, “Show You The Money”, “On Top Your Matter” and more.

Lastly, Wizkid is arguably ranked the best musician in Africa with over 3.5 billion streams on Spotify.
